Creating Interview Templates

Interview templates help you prepare consistent, structured questions before talking to customers. Creating a template  gives you full control over the questions you want to ask

Step 2: Create Your Interview Template

From the Home page, go to Step 2: Create Your Interview Template.

Here, you can choose whether to generate interview questions using AI or create them manually, depending on how you want to work.

Interview templates are designed to help you ask the right questions and validate the hypotheses in your Canvas. Below is how the AI-assisted option works.

We'll explain the process of both AI creation and manual creation below.

Create Interview Templates with AI

Click Generate with AI to automatically create interview questions tailored to your Canvas.

Before generating templates, make sure:

• Your Canvas is populated
• You have defined Customer Segments
• Your business idea statement is filled in

Click "Generate AI Templates" and wait a few minutes. You will be notified when your Templates are ready. Once complete, all selected Templates will be visible in the Step 2 block of your Home page.To generate templates:

1. Click Generate with AI
2. Select the Customer Segments you want to create interview templates for.
3. Click Generate AI Templates.

The platform will process your request and notify you when the templates are ready. Once complete, all generated templates will appear in the Step 2 section of your Home page and Interview Template Tab.

Create Interview Templates Manually

1. Go to the Interview Templates tab from the left navigation.
2. In the upper-left corner, click Create Template or create from home page.

3. A popup will appear.
4. Enter a template name.
5. Click Create Template to save

After creating it, an editable editor opens

• Use this editor to:
  • Write your interview questions
  • Paste existing questions
  • Organize and format your questions as needed

This editor is where all interview questions live— the question set that will be used during interviews.

Creates Interview  Templates from Quick-Access Menu

You can also create an interview template using the quick-access menu:

1. Click the “+” icon in the upper-left corner.
2. Select Interview Templates.

3. Enter the template name in the popup.
4. Click Create Template.

Once created, the template is ready to be edited and used for interviews.
