How to Switch Organizations or Cohorts

Why You Might Need to Change Organizations or Cohorts

In Innovation Within, users may belong to multiple organizations, cohorts, or teams. You might need to switch organizations when you are:

  • Working with different programs, cohorts, or institutions
  • Collaborating with multiple teams across organizations
  • Moving between learning environments (for example, different classes or accelerators)

Switching organizations helps ensure you are viewing the correct Canvas, interviews, insights, and teams for your current work.


How to Change Your Organization or Cohort

  1. Open the Organization Switcher

    In the left sidebar, click on the organization name displayed near the bottom of the navigation.

  2. View Your Organization

You’ll be taken to an Organizations page showing a list of all organizations you belong to.

  1. Select an Organization

Click on the organization you want to access.

  1. View Folders, Cohorts and Teams

After selecting an organization, you’ll see its folders, cohorts and the teams within them.

  1. Choose a Team

Click on the team you want to work in. The platform will automatically update to show that team’s         

Canvas, interviews, insights, and calendar.


What Happens After You Switch

  • Your Home page updates to the selected organization and team
  • You’ll see only the Canvases, Interviews, Insights, and Templates associated with that context
  • Navigation remains the same, but the content reflects the new organization or cohort
