Available Chat Channels
The Discovery Platform includes built-in chat features to help teams collaborate, receive feedback, and get support β all without leaving the platform.
You can open or close chat at any time by clicking the chat icon in the upper-right corner of the screen.
Chat Channels
Depending on your role and team setup, you may see different chat options. Currently, there are two in-platform collaboration channels and three support/help options.
π¬ Team Chat (Private)
Team Chat is a private space for your team.
- Only members of the selected team can see and post messages
- Use it to coordinate interviews, discuss insights, and plan next steps
- When you switch teams using the left sidebar, the Team Chat updates automatically
This channel is ideal for day-to-day internal collaboration.
π¬ Peer Feedback (Public)
Peer Feedback is a shared channel used for feedback and discussion across teams.
- Instructors and peers can leave feedback for your team
- Each team has its own Peer Feedback space
- When you switch teams, the Peer Feedback channel updates to match the selected team
This channel helps teams learn from feedback and track external input over time.

Support & Help Options
In addition to chat channels, the Help menu (bottom-left corner) provides access to platform support and resources:

Start a direct conversation with the Innovation Within support team.

Share product feedback or suggestions with the team.

Browse help articles and documentation to learn how features work.

Notes
- Some chat channels may be enabled or disabled based on your team, cohort, or role
- If a channel is not visible, it may not be available for your current setup
- Chat visibility updates automatically as you switch teams
